Le Sigh… tear in my eye… Fed Ex just came and took away my laptop. I hope Compaq can fix it. I hope that my laptop comes home to me safe and sound and quickly!! I do have my tracking number so I will obsessively be watching it cross the country, you can be sure!!
Then I just have to worry about the Tech guys at compaq not farking it up worse than it already is… I always worry when I let someone else touch my tech. You just never know what they may or may not do.
Guess we’ll see. I can watch their progress in some way on the website. I’m not sure how though.

I wonder if I’m the only one who feels the loss of control when some unknown force looks at my computers. This is the first time I’ve actually done something like this in all the years of computing. But with it being a laptop I couldn’t just swap out power supplies and the like. It is under warranty but still.
I’ll be checking in on the status of my laptop late this afternoon/early this evening to make sure it made it to sunny CA alright.
