Is this thing on?

Hello, I’m testing my laptop now. Wow, not a single power issue at all! Woot! We’re going on two hours and I’ve tried to do things to make the power issue come up. Like jiggle the laptop on my legs and stuff. Nothing! WOOT! The power cord seems to fit a lot snugger now too. Doesn’t seem as loose. So that’s good.

No weird whiney noise either. So that’s good as well.

Just played a burned disc. It played dandy through the first hour. Then I got a weirdo message. Basically a useless error message that gave no usable information. However I could send a bunch of 0’s and 1’s and letters to Microshaft so they could “fix” the error. Yeah… right… I see that one happening. In my lifetime. Uh huh… Anyway, it didn’t seem to cause problems in Real Player though. Interesting. I’ll try a store dvd next. Later though as mum just informed me we’re heading out in a bit for parts unknown.

The movie was good by the way… Summer Catch… like dopey baseball movies for some reason, no idea why. This was a fun one. And it had Cereal Killer so how do you go wrong? *GRINS* Besides crappy dog animations in a movie that should have done better? *cough scooby doo cough*

So anyway… we’ll see what happens when I play a store dvd. Maybe I’ll watch Welcome to Mooseport. I’ve had that one waiting in the wings for a couple of weeks.

For now? Starving nerd needs food. Hello vanilla pudding (after a sandwhich of course… hello not THAT unhealthy!). (By the way, Hunts vanilla pudding is not as good as the other brand that I can’t think of the name of…) Speaking of nerds and food. Scary scary. I just saw yesterday Peeps make a fall comeback. Now that’s just wrong. Peeps ghosts?????? Ok, not quite as scary looking as the ducky blobs from spring… but what is this? The revenge of the peeps that weren’t eaten? *SHUDDER*

Just say no to Peeps!
