Caramon woke up in the middle of the night itchy. He’s got little bumpies. Sure enough, he got himself into some poison something or other. Ivy, Oak, Sumak… who knows. So I had to put him back to bed with admonishments to not scratch. This morning I had to go to the drug store and ask the chemist. He gave me something vaguely japanese sounding to get rid of the oils and then some clear stuff called Corticool for the itching. While there I also picked up yoohoos for the boys. A bit of good bribing to make up for the creeping crud on Caramon and of course Joram so he wouldn’t feel left out.

So last night, the party. It went real well. Amy had a superb turnout and sales so she should be getting tons and tons of great freebies! Including that awesome furniture set like I have! She’s real excited because she loved that set. We made two cards we got to bring home. One has pink flamingos. How cute! And the other has cherries. We even used this really cool stuff that makes things pop out… some kind of gel stuff. It might just be going on my wish list!!

The demonstrator showed this cool thing with the versamark on glossy paper. You can stamp something with the versamark and then when you sponge ink on, the versamark image resists the ink! How neat!! She showed us this with using this fishy stuff so with the glossy and all…looked like it was underwater! I’m definately going to have to use my versarmark for something like that. Apparently the crayon will do something similar. If you ink your stamp and stamp it, then you trace the pattern with a crayon. The crayon will resist the ink. I’ve ony seen watermarking done with the versamark. I’m glad to see something else actually done with the versamark, though I have several pages of ideas my consultant in Mass sent me. But it is much easier when you SEE it sometimes.

This consultant of Amy’s does some marvelous work. The cards she showed us took a lot of time and care and creativity. I’m real impressed. She just started selling Stamping Up in May. Talk bout going with a gusto!!

She’s setting up a stamp thing where you alternate hostess rights and everyone orders x amount per month. Amy and Tammy are excited, this will definatley add to our stamp group. I totally agree.

In October she’s doing a thing where you can go, make a project with the new Hope Is… set and then you leave with the set. I’ll have to consider that one. I did just buy the other one. Which I kind of prefer more. But I’d like to go and see some different ideas for the ribbon…

Now, as to what did I buy? I don’t have my list with me… but going off memory between mum and myself and my memory… we got:

Halloween Backgrounds
Out of This World
La De Dah
Blender Pens
Aqua Pens
I Like Your Style
Kanji
Changing Seasons
Flower of the Month

I think that’s right…

We’re watching All The Queen’s Men. Matt LeBlanc in drag… rock on
