OK, so I was just tired today but mostly I am almost over this crap. My throat is a little scratchy feeling still, but I’ve got the whole mass quantities of lemonade so yay!
I watched a couple of movies today and read some. Mostly just tried to relax since you know how it goes. You start to feel better and run around doing stuff and then get doubly sick. Forget that… I’ve started taking the stance in recent years that even when I’m feeling better… just taking the day off. No kids so why not? I’ll try to take tomorrow lightly as well, however we have a bunch of errands to run and it will work well for keeping kids quiet while dad sleeps to work night shift. They will be quiet if they aren’t home!
Sir Megabyte played with the boys tonight. They had the ball and bat and were having a jolly old time. That’s good. The boys have been busy with school and while they are loving that, they need some good activity.
Mum and I ran out because I needed something to eat. She made some pork and sauerkraut thing. I can’t stand sauerkraut. She knew that but wanted to make it. Sir Megabyte loves the stuff but didn’t try this stuff. *SIGH* Oh well. She wanted a movie, I wanted food, so off we went.
Well she didn’t find anything, but wow did I score! We went to Hollywood Video and I found not only The RM but The Book of Mormon Movie on previously viewed AND there was a BIG sale on previewed. So I snagged them and some cheesy but funny looking movie about vaccuum salesmen. And even better, they didn’t have The Home Teachers on previewed but they did have it for rent. So I rented and will watch it later. WOOHOO!!! Yaaaaay!
So now I have The RM, BOM Part 1, and Brigham City. I’ve seen Single’s Ward (and want it), and will have seen The Home Teachers. So what am I missing? LOL!
In other news, my hero is a level 11 now. She’s doing great! Woohoo! She’s about 1/3 of the way through 11. Yipee! She sidekicked with one of her friends from last week who had leveled up too high. Now this I like. This allows you to be able to group with your friends, even if they level away from you. That was always something that ticked me off about EQ. My Chanter leveled so slow all her friends would level away from her and she’d be stuck. Not so with CoH! Woohoo! She’s sitting at no debt and she’s got plenty of Influence to cover her needs. 🙂
Now, mum and I are already planning costumes for Balticon. We’re heading up for sure in May, we’ve decided. It is a costuming con as well as everything else, the Costumer’s Guild has a strong presence there. we want something really nice and elaborate for the Masquarade. Right now, one thing we are considering is possibly the white outfit Jeannie wore in the I Dream of Jeannie movie. It’s much like her pink one, but white and very ornate and beaded.
We are thinking about making me a harem costume for the halls. I love my mideaval theme, but I want something COOOOOOOL. I was so hot at DragonCon. Plus this would give me two different things. Plus we are talking about possibly making our own patch on Mum’s embroidery machine and retrofitting Sir M’s old cammies into a set for me so I can be SGC. But of course that stuff all’s in storage, so that won’t be any time soon. Unless I swipe some from Gidget next door… HAHA.
Mum and I found a local place to do belly dancing. Ooooh. I need to definately brush up if I’m going to have a harem/gypsy costume. (I’m also thinking gypsy… they can be very close and we could always marry the two for a truly creative costume.) I haven’t belly danced in so long. At the Drum Circle I realized how badly out of that I am. I couldn’t hardly remember anything. Today I was looking up belly dancing sites. I know, it sounds really weird. But it is a GREAT way to tone your abs, obliques, your bottom, your thighs, that whole region. And for mum, it’s a GREAT way to strengthen your back if you have a weakened back. I doubt we’ll make a move on the classes anytime soon, but it would be great and fun! 🙂 I say if you have to excercise at least make it fun. Maybe I should look into getting us a tape? Yeah right… we all know how that works… HAHA…
Well anyway, not sure what’s going on tomorrow. Sir Megabyte’s already gone to bed. So after Atlantis do I watch HT or do I game? Hmmm… You know what, I think I’ll watch The Home Teachers. Sack out on the sofa instead of sitting up in the chair… just kind of sit back and laugh. 🙂 Of course I have a slight headache so could have been a deciding factor in that! 😉

I got into Belly Dancing at cons. I mean I was always a dancer, as you know, but had never really done much in Belly Dancing other than pretending I was Jeannie… But going to conventions, there’s always belly dancing stuff.
I’d like to just find a local tribe and get in with them and go once a week or something. That would be great fun. Wish there was some day stuff. *SIGH* Well that’s just a dream… hehe We’ll see if it ever comes to fruition.
