Joram came home with one of those scholastic book club thingies. And a wish list.
8 books and almost 21 bucks later, we have finished filling this out. OK, Caramon got a few as well. *SNERK*
My kids know my weak spot. ROFL… I’m a sucker for books. There’s a reason why I hide from the book store!! Speaking of which… need to go. Need to go. New Evanovich book… aaaaahhhhhh…..
In other kidlet news, Caramon was just working on his homework. There was a section that says something like “Write words you know that start with these letters” So he puts down fly and friend and stuff. Well I kid you not… there was PR. So he put “preying mantis”. No, I’m not kidding. I’m thinking his teacher is going to look at that and double take. LOL. Two weeks into 2nd grade… Caramon got obsessed with mantises (sp???) this summer, I’m not sure why. Of course he saw a video of one eating the head of something at school last spring and he told me, “You wouldn’t want to see it. It’s not pretty.” Um… OK… just what do they teach in school these days?
Oh yeah, and Caramon said his favourite specials is computers. I said, “That’s my son! Are you a geek like mum?” He said “OH yeah! Geeks rule!” My poor kid, I’ve warped him permanently! HAHA! Geek in our house is a badge of honour.
