We’re under a Tornado Watch. It was until 4 and then they just finally said a few minutes ago it is extended until 5:15. Tornados are cropping up all over the northern half of the state. The Governor has issued a state of emergency. We’ve had three torandos in our town already in the last half hour. They keep cropping up. So far they are just barely east of our house. The kids made it safely home from school (late) but other schools in the county are not released yet. Funny, one only a mile and a half from us hasn’t released yet. Um… Ok…

Anyway, I’m staying online as long as I can. If our power goes out then our network will go down. But we have made plans to go to the bathroom if something happens. Sir Megabyte got home from work just as everything started happening so he is not traveling in this.

Anyway, right now everyone is safe and accounted for. Looks like a good portion of VA and NC are both suffering from this…

This hurricane is wild. I don’t think people generally expect hurricanes to come from the WEST. HAHA…

I would also like to comment that I think it is funnier I have now heard of three more tornados here since moving back than I ever did in Columbus Ohio where they insist on blasting an air raid siren for “tornado testing” every bloody week!!

Oh and very scary. Our normal news radio channel? Nothing but white noise.
