One week until Joram’s birthday.

Ok, we went out to drop off the dry cleaning and to hit Toys R Us. We needed to buy birthday presents for Joram. He’s going to be six next week! Woohoo! Gosh I can’t believe he’s so big Right now he’s reading a story to his grandmother. I just can’t imagine… this time six years ago he was in my belly and I couldn’t wait until he was born and was just about to come off bedrest. And now here it is, six years later, and I have this huge little boy full of hugs and kisses who loves to hold my hand and read.

Simply amazing. I am so grateful for every second I have with my boys. Each birthday is a blessing. And even when they are running around and being loud and crazy and giving me a headache? I love them.

So who wants to hear what we got Joram? OK, we went to Toys R Us because they have uber cool light sabers on sale. Yes, they are the same ones from The Screensavers last week. They light up and they make cool light saber noises! Mum bought one for each boy. They will have tons of fun with those. But where to hide them?

I found a Harry Potter on a quidditch broom figure. There were also these really cute tiny star wars guys on mega sale so I picked up those. There’s actually 12 (they came two to a pack) and so I’m splitting the packs between the boys. (Once more, where to hide?) And then I picked up Camp Nowhere on DVD.

This weekend we have my mother’s birthday on Saturday. If she is up to it, we are going to the Renaissance Festival in Maryland. Otherwise we are taking the boys to Funland. They are having a free weekend for kids! Holy smokes!! If we go to the RF, we might ditch Church on Sunday and go to FunLand on Sunday. Shhhh don’t tell anyone. But I have a few friends I want to invite so I guess we need to decide.

We’ll probably go to the Ren Faire next week or the week after if we don’t go this week. We kind of want to go on the 9th because it is the romance weekend… but we already have other stuff going on that week. This is a very busy time for us. In September and October it always seems like we have something every weekend almost!!

So, I think we have a pretty good setup for Joram for his birthday. I think he’ll be happy. Of course I already need to clean out their little toy bin… hehe.

Meanwhile tonight? Only like 7 hours till we are planning to leave for Best Buy! (if we don’t leave earlier…) Yay Star Wars!!!

Ugh, I want to continue reading my book but I”m just too excited for tonight. Maybe I’ll go play XBox… I looked today and can you believe it? We have a ton of games but only like three are able to be played online! Ugh! But we did decide to preorder Halo 2. Woot! 🙂 Then? It will be me, Master Chief, and a whole bunch of Xbox live peeps.
