We didn’t really do much today. Caramon woke up in the middle of the night, sick. Poor guy. He seemed better by this morning, but we definately didn’t want to go anywhere or have him relapse. We don’t like germ spreading.
So the kids mostly played some. Sir Megabyte and I worked on project specialty as we got the third try parts in. After some fiddling? We got things working! Interesting though, somewhere along the way we had mixed up one part with similar parts we already had. Ooops! HAHA..
Sir Megabyte made a wonderful dinner. We talked about the project some more after dinner and brainstormed ideas for the next step.
I cleaned up the family room some. It was a terrible fright. I organized some stuff for my parents to go through. One thing I did do was a good sweeping. So nice to sweep. The woods are parquet down here and so grit just comes within seconds. I hate that. But now it is all nice… ahhhh….
Sir Megabyte seemed to be well rested so that’s good. I felt so bad. He came home just exhausted on Friday. I’m glad we were able to just kick it back today.
Oh, I did finish my Janet Evanovich book today. The Rocky Road to Romance. It’s awesome. I laughed the whole way through! I may have laughed more than at the last Stephanie Plum novel! I did manage to get an ebook on my palm, so I think I might try to start that tomorrow? I’m hoping at any rate. We’ll see what happens. I’m very excited to start reading it! I would have in the van yesterday but I felt way too carsick.
Oh and yay, found a way to get that stupid virus thing off my laptop! π Thanks to a friend for pointing me to a message board. The answer was up by today. Woohoo! BTW it seemed to be not really a virus but one of those spyware that the virus scanner picks up but can’t do anything since technically it isn’t a virus. Though I consider spyware a virus as well. That’s just me. I’ve had that happen before. Once it found a gator thing and I had to go to my spyware program to erradicate it. But the few other people posting, it seemed to have just cropped up this weekend and the spyware software hadn’t updated since it hit. Chances are there will be a fix in the next update but I didn’t want to wait that long. What it did though apparently was make itself not only hidden but protected so I had to go to the MSDOS prompt and change the access. took care of it easy enough that way! π YAY!
