We are in NJ and everything is good. We were up way late last night setting up that special project I’ve been working on. Now I can finally let the public know, I was building my FIL and step-MIL a new PC. I’ll post more details (and photos) later once we’re not doing family stuff (and when I have a faster connection). I just want to post how excited I am because they love the system! WOOHOO! I really am happy that I could do something for them. They’ve never been anything but nice to me and I know that I’m all geeky and into things they just aren’t into. It is nice that I could use my knowledge and interest base to do something to help them out, I really like that. Makes me feel good. They are real excited and love it! YAY! YAY!
I will tell you, they were a little stunned when Sir Megabyte brought in the box. They were like “You brought your computer with you?” Sir M said, “No!” “Well what’s that?” “That’s your computer!” Talk about shocked, we really surprised them!
Anyway, we’ve set it up with their internet and I’m posting on the web from it.
We’re off to do… um yeah haven’t decided yet. I’ll post more later.
And did I mention? Yay! They like it! They really like it!

Have you already heard the names of the new apostles? Dieter Uchtdorf and Peter Bednar! They’re both cool….

No! Thanks! π
I don’t know if I have ever heard of them… did they speak? Maybe I can get a chance to learn about them if they get to speak. I’ll have to make sure to check out the next few Ensign’s as soon as they hit the net. I’m sure that there will be something in there about them… or at least you would think there would be!
Thank you, you got the news to me first!!
Now back to fixing Frankie’s computer. (step-brother-in-law)

I met elder Uchtdorf when he was the Europe area president and traveled with the choir during the Europe tour 6 years ago. he was so awesome! He is going to be so fantastic.

That’s cool! I’d love to hear about him sometime. I hope that i get to hear him speak soon.
You know, it must be hard sometimes to be married to a Choir member because of all the commitments and the like; but it does sound like it can be dreadfully fun and exciting!!
