Ok, we’ve done so many things to this hard drive on Sir Megabyte’s computer. We’ve tried to reinstall linux three times. We obliterated the entire hard drive and partitions. We tried to fdisk. We tried to muck with the mbr. Nothing works. The thing is still trying to load windows. Grrr. So I guess this hard drive is frelled beyond belief. Frustrated? Yes. Just for kicks, since it asked, I said “Sure try to load windows into safe mode!” Yeah then I watched it freak out as it tried without any luck to find any windows files. HAHA… that was rather amusing. It has gotten worse though. We get this rather polite syruppy message saying “We are sorry for the inconvience but windows cannot load.” No joke, it IS NOT there! Then it will reboot. Post. Try to load windows. Fail. Reboot. Post… you get the idea.

GRRRR.

Growl.

Windows=virus=evil. This is why people feel this way. Golly. Makes me feel tempted to run around the country waving my arms and yelling “Danger! Danger!”

In more interesting and non frustrating news, mum and I ran over to the school and picked up some books at the book faire. Two little boys? HAPPY! One kid asked Caramon if I was his sister. Hmmm. HEHE.

I soooo need to get away from fixing computers. I’m about to get one of those “No I will not fix your computer” shirts. Bwahahaha. (Actually I don’t mind, I just get buggered when things SHOULD work but DO NOT!)

I seriously need to go through the pictures of the sys I built for my FIL but I’m so lost in Farscape marathon… HEHE On the bright note, I’m catching up on Farscape!! I’m at the Princess trilogy. Yay! I couldn’t get through it tonight and didn’t want to break it up so I decided to watch some other stuff off the DVR.
