NOpe, it’s a total eclipse of the moon… cool!

Everyone, tonight is a wicked cool Total Eclipse! 🙂 It is visible for all of North America. Here’s the information in Eastern Time.

Moon enters penumbra: 8:05 PM
First shading visible: 8:45 PM
Partial eclipse starts: 9:14 PM
Total eclipse starts: 10:23 PM
Total eclipse ends: 11:45 PM
Partial eclipse ends: 12:54 AM
Last visible shading: 1:25 AM
Moon leaves penumbra: 2:03 AM

Just in case you want to know, there are two lunar eclipses a year. Generally one around May, one around November. But that’s not exact. Depending on where you live will determine if you are going to be able to see it at all or not. North America didn’t really get to see this Spring’s. However Australia did! This total eclipse which we’ve had a bunch of recently. However, this is the last chance until spring of 2007 to see a total eclipse anywhere on the planet! Ooooh!

And yes, it’s during the World Series. How cool is that? Not that I follow baseball… but anyway.
