Today I cleaned up the house and am very proud of my work. We hopped out to run some errands. Unfortunately mum was in a lot of pain and by the end of the errands she was feeling it. I got a hot flash and thought I was going to faint so we didn’t do a full grocery run. We just picked up dinner tonight (mmmm BBQ!) and came on home.

We did go to a new place for lunch we hadn’t tried before. It was really great! It’s a smoothie shop with sandwhiches. We each got half a sandwhich and soup and a smoothie. I got a tuna melt and chicken noodle soup. OMG it was YUMMY. Mmmmm. And the smoothie? Mmmmm. I love smoothies. Why don’t my smoothies turn out that good? Darnit!

Among other things we popped into Best Buy. Mum was going nuts over Halo 2 which I’d pre-ordered. I wasn’t going to get it for another week or so but she was like “let’s go!” So we went ahead and got it. I’m so excited. We came back and I moved the XBox out to the family room so that I could try it out tonight. It isn’t like anything else is on. I mean CMA on CBS? Killing my TV!! GRRR. It came with a two month trial of Live so maybe I’ll go ahead and get my own GamerTag and get on myself and kick some Covenant booties!! Mwahahahahahaha! Anyone else got XBox Live? Halo 2?

Halo ROCKS… and now i can play it ONLINE! WOOHOO.

I think you guys know where I’ll be to all hours of the night! 🙂

I’m glad Dad is better and able to go to work. I was able to get a lot accomplished today. I don’t like doing my housework when the men are around. I know it sounds weird but really it kind of makes sense. Everyone just comes behind and undoes whatever you do and then you get upset… I’d rather just let it all go until they are back at work.

I’m reading a new book right now. It’s about three London women who are having babies and is rather interesting. Not what I thought it was… but fun none the less. Apparently from what I can tell it is written in sections. The three all know each other. The first was about a woman in a loveless relationship trying to have a baby and possibly havin fertility issues with her partner. ANd she’s REALLY baby hungry. I just started the second part which is about a high powered career obsessed singleton who has a serious commitment phobia. Apparently by the back of the book she’s going to encounter a WHOOPS. The third part, not sure how long till I get into that is about a woman who’s happily married, pregnant, and well, not sure what’s going to happen there. HEHE. It’s fun, it’s one of those funny chic books, but I think it would do great for book groups because of being able to discuss different things. Anyway, I think I’m going to read it a bit while waiting for Halo Time to start back up. 🙂
