Still have my three green checks! Three people who signed up and completed their offer. I have 2 yellows. Two people who signed up but haven’t completed their offers. It’s been a couple of weeks. It could be they are signed up for something that takes two or three weeks to give them credit or they could just not have done their trial yet or they could have completely and totally forgotten! I won’t know till they go green I suppose. I’m getting excited though!! π Though I’m trying to stay level headed. I mean I know it takes a couple of months to get one after you finish up all your qualifying. But still. Wheeeeee Ipod! π
I haven’t read about anyone on my Friends List doing this, so if anyone is, I hope you guys are having good luck!! We all deserve Free Ipods.
And to my Canadian Friends, I’m really sorry you can’t participate. π¦ I think it is unfair!! I think you should be able to get free Ipods, too!

I had a bit of a scare – meant to update about it all but just haven’t got to it. lol
How are you?
btw, have you seen that clip for Fantastic Four? There’s a wee bit of an interview with Julian and his lovely accent. π

Are you OK??? Don’t say you had a bit of a scare and leave it at that…
I’m OK.. been doing the Halo 2 thing… HEHE I haven’t seen anything on Julian being interviewed about F4. I just can’t wait to see it. I’ve of course heard he gave the big “NO WAY” to the 007 gig. Good. It would be a waste of him. Sure, would get him on the big screen, but I’m not THAT desperate yet to see him on the big screen I’d make him sacrifice his greatness.

I’m ok. Sorry, didn’t mean to sound all dramatic. I’ll try to explain better in a post.
ITA, he must save his greatness for the best. I’m glad he’s going to be in the movies. hehe

I’ll read your post then. Try not to scare me though!!
And yes, Julian must do REAL parts. I’m sorry, 007 has cool effects, cool gadgets, and cool cars. But the character? He’s pretty flat. Julian is too talented to go and do someone so flat.

Yeah, flatter than a pancake.
Did you see?? I posted the link to Fantastic Four for you. Oolala He looks fine. And I’m sure his acting is perfect.

I actually was gone all day Saturday and got home wiped and almost went strait to bed. And yesterday I just was hanging out (and doing things) so I haven’t read journals all weekend. I just logged on to go read them so I’ll get to the link in a little bit I’m sure! Thank you so much! I can’t wait to read it!
Now see, as long as the script is good and Julian is given the chance to really use his gifts? His acting will be steller. Of course there are those flicks where the script is lousy and the stars aren’t allowed to really do anything… but I’m sure that’s not the case here… π I can’t wait to see it.
I miss my weekly Julian. *SIGH* Why does nip/tuck have to have such short seasons? I can’t believe I have to wait until next summer before I get my weekly fix! GRRRRR. And especially after that cliffy! Gaaah!
I’m not desperate enough to want Julian as 007 though. Too flat as a pancake like you said. Give him something hard!! π

Yeah, he will do great things, Julian! I’m excited for him b/c this is only the beginning, really. So much ahead for him.
I know, I really miss my n/t fix! All the best shows have such short seasons. Like Dead Like Me, too. *sigh* I want them every week all year long. Ah well, I s’pose they need a break. π
And notice J’s different accents – the weird movie accent and then his rl Australian accent. I’ve heard it stronger, sounds like he’s covering it up a bit.

DLM is awesome and I hate their short short short season! Ugh!!!
Julian is just awesome. He can do a lot of stuff really well. But you know what it is? He’s not American. And so they focus on good acting not good looks. He’s lucky, he has both. But you know what I mean? If you are a good actor/actress then you get a part, not if you are pretty. Here virtually anyone can get a part, as long as they are pretty. *SIGH*

I sure agree about the different approach to acting. Most Brits for example also do stage acting – like Alan Rickman. It makes such a difference in approach and attitude I think.
And that they don’t look perfect is so true!!
Yeah, no one has a smile quite like Julians, though *sigh*

You are so right
Here you have stage actors and you have screen actors and sometimes the two cross but it seems like they don’t really. And stage acting is so much different. Often you have to work harder because there are no special effects, no close up camera shots, etc etc. You need to use more than your eyes, you need to use your whole face, your hands, your entire body. I mean look at AR. Snape is not just a face. It’s everything about him. The way he walks, the way he stands, his greasy hair, AR doesn’t just use his face, he uses his entire body to be Snape. And such a good Snape he is.
But think about all the things we Americans mock about the Brits and their TV/etc. The bad teeth, the crooked noses, the bad camera work. Here we are all about the look. If it doesn’t look good it’s automatically thrown in the bin as rubbish. The Brits don’t care. They care about the acting, as long as the acting is top notch that’s what carries. And that’s why there are so many americans who flock to BBCA… they want to see the good acting, something that is oftimes lacking here in the states.
I wish that people would realize that acting isn’t about dashing good looks and perfect teeth. There have been so many things that I’ve seen that I was like “Geeze, if only they had someone better in that part…”
Julian is lucky and has it all. Dashing good looks, great teeth, and a mountain of talent.

*nod nod nod* Same with Jason Isaacs/Lucius. He knows exactly how to use his voice and movements to make Lucius larger than life. And it was his idea how to dress Lucius. Wardrobe had to change his costume, a pin-stripe suit. Isaacs said, no no no! Lucius should have aristocratic tastes with old moldy clothes. lol I’m so glad he’ll be in the next movie.
Julian and Jason have one thing in common – both were in law school before acting. Isn’t that something.
Julian looks like a matinee idol. hehe
btw, sorry this is late. Sometimes I’m tardy in checking the posts in email. Otherwise I lose track. π

Oooh… you mean Warlock. That guy is BAD. I mean he makes me quiver. If ever you want a bad boy… he’s got that whole thing going on. And the hair… let me faint right now. Gaaaah… OK, now I must stop thinking about him…
Holy cow, you are kidding? They would have been a waste as lawyers. We need them where we can drool all over them. gaaaaah… there comes the drool again.
And hey, it’s OK.. I’m with ya. Especially during the holiday season… I get so busy… LOL

Sorry Oz, no, I wasn’t referring to Warlock – is that a movie? I’m trying to think of what it is. I meant Jason Isaacs – the one who is Lucius Malfoy in the HP movies. π Who also dons long hair.
Yeah really, glad they got outta law and into acting where they belong. It’s odd though, how they’d make that leap.

Don’t worry about it… hehe… it’s OK. I know what I”m talking about, just as usual no one else does! *GRINS* I nickname everyone from things I’ve seen them in before! HAHA Bad habit I picked up from Seinfeld! π
Yeah, you’d think “How do you go from law to acting?” but I have a friend who was in law school but what he really wanted to do was screenwrite. But he wanted to write legal jazz hence the law school. I guess consider him the next Tom Clancy or something…
And Lucius is yummy. I love his hair. I just want to run my hands through it!!!

Later that night I remembered the Warlock movie! I was in bed reading and it hit me who you meant. lol Julian Sands – also with blond hair – played the Warlock.
Oh sure, people make all kinds of leaps. π
Oh yeah, I’d love to run my hands through those blond locks too. But Lucius might bite. hehe
