We’re off to NJ. i’m not sure when I’ll be able to post but I’ll backpost when I get home for sure if not before then. Everyone, happy Thanksgiving!!
— Website Note: Yeah I was a dork and forgot my password for the new system. How great is that? And well, yeah… got fubarred when trying to recover it. Had to delete the database and start over. Thankfully since everything else was done, I only lost the posts and the links I’d put on the side and the categories. I fixed it this morning, but haven’t added any of that stuff back. So go check out the new system, but know that it needs a little work. Mostly likely to be done when I get home. But I’ll see if I have spare time while in Jersey.
Bye!
PS… Stressed out… over website and over the thought of holiday traffic in the rain. Blargh… I hate holiday traffic, I hate rain traffic, I hate DC heavy traffic and I’m getting all three! *SHUDDER* Pray I’m not a basketcase by the time we hit NJ!

Did you have a good Thanksgiving? We did. We had a good meal, played some dominos, hung out, and all that good stuff. My MIL and I ran out this morning like a bunch of crazy fools to do shopping. Don’t ask, yes we know we are crazy! But it wasn’t really that bad and we got a ton of stuff! 🙂 The rest of today was just sitting around playing dominos some more and chatting. It’s been a good vacay… ROFL… sitting around doing nothing? How do you go wrong! I sure hope you got to do some sitting around… hehe

I thought you’d find that story interesting with your outreach mission and knitting efforts of late.

That’s a really great one. I read the article and looked at the picture of the hats. They looked so comfortable!! A lot of kids don’t get stuff like that when they are sick, and I don’t know about adults. Caramon was given hats and kerchiefs like mad. My mum made him a bunch of flannel kerchiefs that were soooooo soft for his head which was really sensitive.
We have so many baseball caps floating around. Hehehe…
Maybe I’ll put this down as an idea as well though. We are right by Children’s National and John Hopkins. Those are two of the three hospitals all the protocols seem to come from, St Jude’s in Memphis being the other. (St Jude’s is getting all the press currently due to their insane amount of holiday advertising. Have you seen the ads? They are playing constantly here… it’s really great to see so many stars getting involved with the fund raiser!!)
Keep dropping me ideas like this! It’s great! 🙂
