After dealing with everyone being sick and I finished my book and just had that whole “I need to get out” so I left the house today. First time all week since Monday and Tuesday Joram was sick and yesterday I was so exhausted from not sleeping because of sick kids that I just couldn’t get motivated to leave the house.

This morning I finished my Todd McCaffrey Pern book. It was AWESOME. I’m so glad, too. I look forward to more Pern novels! Anyway, so I decided I had a bunch of stuff to do so off I ran. Here’s the highlights:

I took a bunch of stuff to the DV shelter. We’ve had it but with all the illness, never made it over there. So off I went today and so yay… delivered. I talked to my contact there about possibly taking some Easter pictures for the women there. We’ll see how that turns out. As it turns out, she needs a photographer for her son who has graduated this year. Plus it’s her 50th birthday in May and she’d love some pictures as well. So perhaps I have that to do as well!

My back and hips were hurting. Again. So I went to the futon store and decided I want the 550 dollar mattress. HA! Yeah I know… needless to say, it’s going on ye old wish list. Le Sigh. I miss my waterbed. Boy do I miss my waterbed. But I was curious so I stopped in.

Also was curious. Dropped into Curves to investigate. I’ve several friends who’ve joined Curves in other areas and rave about it. Hubby is working out in the office gym. Must be nice. So I wondered about this. It’s right by where I live and maybe it would help me beat the lethargy. Plus I really am just wanting time away doing something just for me. I’m tired of not having my OWN life. I guess I just need a change. Some space. I could go while the kids are in school so that’s neat. It’s only 30 bucks a month. I like how you switch what you are doing every 30 seconds. Keeps you from getting bored. So I got a free one week trial membership. We’ll see how that works out. Of course, I guess now I need to get *GAG GAG GAG* tennis shoes. I’d much rather wear my ballet slippers or go barefoot. I know, I’m a dancer and there for a FREAK but I HATE tennis shoes. So… will be digging through boxes in an effort to avoid the shoe store. I HATE shoe stores.

Did some other stuff, but that’s the highlights. I think I’m taking the kids to a basketball game for the son of one of my friends. We’ll see how that goes.
