I’m so surprised they didn’t lose this day off. I guess the teachers couldn’t get out of inservice. Don’t know. Anyway, it was a day off for the boys so we gave them a treat.

Mum and I met a friend and her little boy for lunch at the Westwood Deli. After eating we went to the theatre and saw The Pacifier. What a fun movie! The kids raved about it. Big hit with them! Vin Diesel had a scene where he was only in a towel so that was a big hit with mum. And I couldn’t stop laughing and loved the movie. So it was a big hit with me. Our friend and her son seemed to like the movie as well. I recommend it. However there are two images I’ll never scrub from my brain that I could have totally lived without. The guy who plays Raymond’s brother on Everyone Loves Raymond is in this movie. There was a scene where he was in one of those wrestling outfits… way too much of his skin showing. *SHUDDER* And then there was one of him in a habit. I don’t know that I’ll ever forget the hillariousness of him dressed as a nun. Don’t ask. Go see the movie!

After the movie I took the boys to the friend’s house and they ran and ran and ran. We were having such a wonderful springlike day, how could I not encourage the boys to be outside?
