You know what, I just didn’t clean up enough last week on my laptopl. i’m bored, I’m sick of it acting buggy (though Aston has REALLY helped with that), and I think it just needs an overhaul.

Everything is backed up. So why the heck not. Let’s pull out ye old factory discs and start from scratch. Goodness knows I haven’t done such a thing since I purchased this computer in 2003. Wow… almost a year and a half ago. Scary. So… it is probably time. Right?

So I’m ripping a few more Audible discs for Sir Megabyte (Prometheus Deception) and then Buh Bye.

So… if i’m rather busy the next couple of days. You know why.

This is going to put a damper on me watching Season 2 of Tru Calling though. Humph. Oh well.

In other news, I emailed one of the Balticon people asking what needs to happen to get a panel discussing Dr Who New. Who wants to take the bet I’ll get an email this week saying “Dear Ozma. Wonderful idea. You’re in charge.” I know these con types… emphasis on the “con” 😉 *SNICKERS* we shall see. But I thin Balticon DEFINATELY needs a Dr Who panel. At least one. I also think it needs one on Tru Calling and how wrong it was to have it axed. What about a bloody panel on the injustice of the system axing all these wonderful shows to put on drivel reality programming that’s in no way good. I’ll give a free wave to Survivor, AI, and Big Brother. but 99% of the rest of the stuff is crap. Big huge stinking pile of fresh cow crap. How’s THAT for a visual.

But we’ve seen so many good shows come out the last couple of years and watched them get yanked for our hands like the thirsty man in the desert who thinks he’s found water and it turns out to be simply a mirage.

Firefly. Wonderfalls. Tru Calling. Heck, we’re even losing Enterprise. 😦
