I thought I would make note of some podcasts I’m listening to because… well they rock. I mean really, they do!

First of all I have the DragonPage Mondo Feed coming in. That’s got all three of their shows.

DragonPage Cover to Cover – There’s 2 author interviews, some kidding, and there is a Library section where the hosts read the flaps off some interesting books they got mailed. They get a LOT of books because of their author interviews. They’re sci-fi and fantasy, but surely you figured that out off “Dragon” in their name. They’ve interviewed Ben Bova and Kevin Anderson, and other very good sci fi authors.

DragonPage Slice of Sci-Fi – All the week’s Sci Fi news and those wonderfully funny hosts! Oh yeah, and this kicks butt over Sci-Fi Channel’s newsfeed.

DragonPage Winging It – Hear about one of the hosts attempt to start a cult! Hear them blather on about sci fi goodness. Get “Another Side of the Story” with a stormtrooper telling how it REALLY is in the Lucas-verse. And of course… talk about drinking Guiness and fun toys that the hosts have gotten! Latest was a Rubick’s Cube!

More good stuff!

Podcast Who – Meet Tom, fellow Virginian Whovian! He’s got tons of Doctor Who fun stuff, books, videos, whatever. He’s been reviewing the new episodes, he’s reviewing old episodes, and promises that he would like to also review his books and audio dramas. Recently he’s placed odds on who Bad Wolf is (this is in yesterday’s episode which here in the states? Still working on getting.) and also reviewing the first episode of Doctor Who ever from way back in what? 69? Something like that. Forever ago. Doctor WHo wrapped (yesterday) it’s 27th season! (There was a big hiatus.)

Slashdot Review – Exactly what it sounds like. 10 minutes of what went up at Slashdot today. Awesome feed. Ends with a garage band artist’s song. Nice. Geek and music. Rock on!

Mur Lafferty’s Geek FU Action Grip – She’s a geek, she’s a girl, she’s a gamer, she’s great! Listen to her talk about motherhood in the sci fi-gaming-convention world! Her essays she reads are awesome!

TWIT – TWIT rocks. Enough said. It’s “other name” is “The Revenge of the Return of Tech TV.” That should say it all. Yeah all those great geeks that G4 bastages chased off because they were… I don’t know… smart. It’s awesome!

Escape Pod – Sci fi/Fantasy short stories. Woot!

Slacker Astronomy – It’s a couple of astronomy geeks! THey’re telling you astronomy news for the week. They don’t work for NASA. And not only that but they let themselves be led by a Magic 8 Ball or whatever else looks interesting! You get the drift, they’re goofy, they make everything understandable to anyone, and it’s awesome information! Forget Nasa. Yawn! NASA are the yahoos who can’t even get us back to the Moon let alone keep track of their rovers on Mars. Put Slacker Astronomy up and we’ll get places!

That’s probably enough of what I’m downloading for now. Oh that’s only a small portion… hehe…

I want to podcast. I think that now that my partners and I are trying to resurrect Parenting in Poverty, we might do a podcast for that. That would be fun. Woot! I need to jump on this idea before someone steals my idea! HEHE Sir Megabyte said that he thought podcasting would be fun. He’s still playing with his mp3 player. He’s really into music, so I bet he’d love to play “DJ” 🙂
