I’m such a geek gurl. At least I realize this!

I’ve been itching to try it out, so today I did it. I played with the Audicity program with a janky headset with mike. It sounds like garbage due to janky mike. But it could have sounded worse. I definately don’t like a mike being so close to my mouth. I grew up on the stage and I breathe as someone who grew up on the stage. You can hear me taking breaths… LOL.

So what did I do? Well last night I went to see the Bewitched movie. I loved Bewitched. I grew up with Bewitched and Jeannie! So I wrote up a review of the movie. (Yes I’ll post it.) Since I needed SOMETHING to talk about, I decided to read that review. I’ve never been one for reading something. I do memorized. I make it up as I go along. But I don’t read aloud. If I give a talk in church I walk up with a piece of paper with like three or four points in HUGE writing and that’s it. (Bishops sweat when they see my lone sheet of paper!)

I think I did OK… not too bad. Could definately improve a zillion percent. But hey, I’ve never done that before!

In uber geekiness, I even added in Samantha’s nose twitch sound as well as concluded with the Bewitched theme music. Too fun!

I also worked on my parenting site a bit. Because it needs work. Anyone who wants to see what I’ve done, http://www.parentinginpoverty.info It is where I also loaded that movie review. I’ve been working for a while on a new layout and a new way to do the site. Something to make it easier, user friendly, and great. I’ve buried the old site and haven’t added in all our many things we’ve put on it in the past few years. But that’s OK. I’ll get around to it. I’d rather worry about now and go forward and back stuff up later.

We went out to dinner tonight. We went to Olive Garden and I got this seafood cannoli thingamabobbie. It was AWESOME! This dish is very new and very yummy! It is hands down the very best thing I have ever had at Olive Garden. Of course, the salad was mmm mm good! The salad is the whole reason to go! HAHA

I of course did some other stuff, but nothing real interesting. Went to the bookstore for Stephanie Plum books, took my mum around trying to find a DVD to give her her Vin Diesel fix, that sort of thing!

Tomorrow I believe we are seeing War of the Worlds. I hope so, I’m real excited to see it!
