With our house being sold it is time to start watching the listings SERIOUSLY. Houses here literally fly on and off the listings. I know the neighbourhoods I would like first and foremost. I’ve got the local paper which has a pretty good listings section I can watch but I also need to do drive throughs as not everyone lists in the paper. Like out of the local town realtors. There’s a house for rent by a friend of mine (Way over priced so bye bye on that one) that’s listed with a realtor from like Fairfax and so it isn’t listed in the local paper. Silly realtors! I also have seen a few of the for rent by owner type signs. Hmmm.

So far it’s looking moderate. All the really cheap places seem to have gone now. They go so fast. There are some neighbourhoods that are nice but just have cheaper housing for some reason and then other neighbourhoods that are nice that have way expensive housing and there’s really no differance between the two but prices. I’ll tell you, I will never understand this crazy real estate market!! 🙂

I figure though that I need to start now though because of how fast the market moves. I don’t want to be left in the dust. Besides if a house is a little high and stays on for a few weeks it might lower so I need to be watching THAT as well!

Other than that, I watched a little more Sylvester Doctor Who and listened to a bit more of my Big Finish Audio production with Peter Davison. It’s the cd from May? It is “Three’s a Crowd” and is getting to the exciting part of the third act! Woot! This one is very interesting. I may do a write up when I’m done… has a lot to say about our society!

Tonight (if the storm that just blew in passes) we’re going to set off what’s left of our fireworks. We didn’t get to do them last night. How fun!
