I’m so behind in news because of never being home. The house hunting you know… keeping me a busy busy girl between that and the kids!

Anyway, I just read that James Doohan passed away yesterday. How sad. Even sadder is he had to pass away in a world with no vision of the future, no Star Trek to give us hope of better and brighter tomorrows. A vision he helped to create for us. Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott, you shall never be forgotten. Your pivotal role in shaping our vision of the future of the Star Trek Universe will affect us for years to come.

For those in the acting community, I hope they take James Doohan’s example of how to be a star. Humble and enjoying the fans.

“Beam me up, Mr Scott” shall live on forever in my heart as he has himself truly been “beamed up”. “I’ve giving her all I’ve got” is my motto for every day life, as I think was really his. In life he gave everything he had.

Now I think I need to go watch a classic Trek episode. Wish I could find one. I know we have some floating around. But I don’t own the DVDs so might take some hunting.
