Yesterday was a long day! The kids were going nuts. I think it’s cabin fever. I know it sounds dumb to have cabin fever in summer in VA, but the heat wave was just terrible! 117? I can’t go out in that with children! Especially since I have leather upholstrey in my car. (Who decided that was a “perk”???? I need to smack them!)

So since we’ve got a great cold front, I took the boys out! We went to lunch and met up with several people we knew! That’s cool. It doesn’t hardly happen. I remember how living here you always ran into someone… I mean the town wasn’t small, but when you are active in the community you just tend to run into people. But now I never see people I know. 😦 So this was a real real treat! 🙂 Then we went over to a store and looked at sofas because I’m in the market for a new one. Just wanted to get a price check!

So various town wanderings and then over to my friend Dragyn Pryncess and we just had fun. The boys ran with her boys and we talked and then we recorded our podcast for the week, we put a book review in the can, and I did the review for this week. I reviewd the sneak peek movie I went to last week, Must Love Dogs! Woohoo! Yes I enjoyed it. It was kind of predictable in a few places, but it was almost like they did that on purpose because it was so funny it seemed almost like they were moving more towards making fun of romantic comedies… LOL

This stuff took longer than you might think as we were getting a million interruptions plus we were getting sidetracked, and we were dealing with cute kids, oh the funs of parenting! 🙂 The kids were cracking us up at times too. Kids, they really do add excitement to your life!!

Today has been much more laid back. Yet I still have a headache… what’s up with that? Ugh… I think it is just from being tired. Maybe I’ll try to read and relax and go to sleep? Sounding good.

Oh in good news, a had a WHOLE bunch of stamps sitting with my consultant and she brought those by to me today. So yay! Lots of stamps to assemble in my copious amounts of free time! *GIGGLES*

Let’s see, I surfed ebay a lot. Certain people in Canada on the arctic circle who shall remain nameless gave the link to the most amazing but evil addictive site… all I do is surf it now looking up ebay auctions! HAHA I did make a purchase which I am not free at this time to remark on what it is. When it arrives (what a bargain I got, too!) it is going to be taken immediately to Dragyn Pryncess’s home as it is a gift for my anniversary for my hubster! He’s gonna totally love it!

Oh I dunno, that’s all I can think of for now. Other than I’m also waiting for my Harry Potter book. Alas, it did NOT come today. I kind of thought today was iffy, but a girl can hope, right? I’m thinking it will come either tomorrow or Monday/Tuesday. Sounds about right!
Oh and I’m thinking we’ll hit the theatre again this weekend. I’m torn. Willy Wonka chocolatey goodness with a smattering of creepy Oompah Loompas or more superhero saving the day goodness of Sky High? Of course the fact that in addition to THAT there’s a couple of “mommy” movies out that I want to se as well. Grrr. Dangit. (Namely Stealth is at the top of my list right now)
