I’m packing our bags, I’m cleaning the car, I’m getting ready to go! We’re off once more for Jersey-land for some fun with family! Tomorrow Sir Megabyte has a fishing trip out on the ocean with his family. Must say that sounds about as uninteresting to me as paint peeling. I’m not a fisher sorts. I don’t even like fishing in my games, I make the kids do it! HAHA But Sir M LOVES it, so I’m really glad he gets to go. I’m hoping he catches something good. We’ll grill it up and eat it while we are there if he does!! I love fish! Yum!!! Mmmm.

After tomorrow though the plans get interesting!! 🙂 We’re going to go to the shore and the boardwalk. We did this last year, my first time, and it was so much fun! OK, it was a gazillion degrees so I was a tad bit miserable, but hopefully it will be OK this week. I’m hoping for good weather because I want boardwalk fun dangit!! I love amusement park type stuff, what can I say? I haven’t a clue what we’re doing on Friday. But my inlaws have been planning and I’m game for some fun!

It’s a bittersweet adventure. I’m glad it is finally time because I”ve been looking forward to it. I’m glad that September is almost here so I can move and so the weather will hopefully cool off. I’m so tired of this heat wave. But I’m sad. Summer is drawing to a close and I didn’t get to do half of what I wanted, mostly because of the dang blasted heat wave. I’m so tired of 110+ degree weather!!! I can’t beleive it is almost time for school to start. This vacation marks the end of our summer vacation, school starts Monday. *SIGH* No more bright summer days. It’s gonna start cooling off (That’s actually good right now) and the flowers are going to start disappearing and the trees are going to lose their leaves and it will be winter before I know it.

OK, time to get serious about packing because I’m itching to leave!! I really can’t wait! We’re taking off at lunch time! WOOHOO! My iPod is loaded. Lots of music, podcasts, and books! So the drive will have stuff to listen to! The kids are ramped up as well. THey can’t wait to see their grandparents in Jersey!!!!

It’s 8:30!!! Only four more hours till leave time! WOOHOO!!! I’m still tired… but soon I’ll be fully awake and raring to go.

After I pack I’m hoping to have the time to do the final edits of my podcast review of Dixieland Sushi so I can get it posted before going. I don’t want to have to post it on dial up… eeeek! Need to get a move on!
