When it comes to the latest and greatest on the music scene I tend to be lagging. This is fine by me as my listening is eclectic to begin with. Often I find that I’m off listening to something odd and wacky for a month and so I fall out of touch with the mainstream world.

I despise the radio because it seems when I’m in the car generally every channel is playing commercials. When the music channels finally come around to playing music they never seem to mention the band name. At some point several months down the road I realize I do know a popular band because there’s a song I have heard that is sung by them.

This happened recently. A friend just told me about a band named Garbage. Well lo and behold? I Have heard one of their songs and I love it!

So my latest band is probably of no news to you. It’s Garbage. No longer can you use “garbage” as a term to mean bad things. Is Garbage to be the new bad?

I would like to also comment that I am loving another new-to-me band, The Pussycat Dolls. Their video for Beep is just too funny to me!

So perhaps you are like me and a lover of music but completely without a clue. Or perhaps you are a musicphile and are always into the latest and greatest. At any rate, investigate these two bands today and enjoy them as I have!
