This week I found some cool organizing things on Pinterest I’d like to try. My goal for the year is to finally do something with this house. I pretty much hate it. It’s not that it is a bad house, just it is very much not me. The spaces are choppy, there’s not much storage and what little we have is not utilized well if at all, and really that’s about the extent of things because I haven’t even decorated.
Because I’m lame.
Somewhere along the way in all these moves, I just got tired of it all. I lost the energy and just can’t seem to find the time. I want to find the time, but the creativity in my brain is just gone.
When I first got married I watched all these interior design shows. Now, I cruise the Pinterest.
First up: a really cute mail holder. This is made from nothing more than a cereal box. We have a million of these. We have a serious issue with paper clutter like everyone else. Here, the person used magnets to hang on a fridge, but you could choose other options if you like. What a cute idea!
I read something somewhere (yeah real specific, but i forget) that said that Americans live in their cars so much that even a vampire would need to request an invitation to get into the car. I love my car, but I think it is safe to say it’s my home on wheels. I’ve often tried to find some sort of basket or bag to corral my car stuff. Thanks to someone’s pin, I can now make my own!
We moved into a house with eight closets. That’s right, eight. Four bedrooms, three hallway, and a coat closet. The only closets that in any way could be considered useable? The hallway ones. Planning how to set up your closets turned out not as easy as you would think. At this point our status: 2 bedroom closets 3/4ths done, 1 barely useable, 1 completely useless.
Well, here’s some ideas. You are welcome on behalf of me and the pinner! Sadly, I can’t help you with the extreme cost to make-over a closet.
so glad I found your blog. And your pinterest ideas. Awesome!

Now that I have some free time (supposedly) I should try to make some of that stuff! I had high hopes that didn’t really pan out with all of youth celebration activity! 🙂 Thanks for visiting!
