Well we are a bunch of avid readers. Our house has tons of books and I’m always in the middle of reading something!
I just finished up Charmed: Something Wiccan This Way Comes and am now moving onto the new Janet Evanovich book, Full Speed. After that I’ll be moving on to this month’s book club book, The Diary of Mattie Spenser.
Caramon of course has been checking out books from the library and his book in a bag from school, but this weekend Caramon decided he wanted to read a book from home. He picked up Goosebumps: How I Got My Shrunken Head by R. L. Stine. He’s reading it by his little old self and doing wonderful! I can hardly believe how smart he is!
Joram read a book yesterday called “Toys”. He’s been bringing home these little paper books that help build confidence in reading. He’s doing really well and I have no doubts that soon enough he’s gonna be a big huge reader like Caramon!
I definately think it is time for Caramon to begin reading the Happy Hollister’s so I need to figure out my book case situation and set them up and align those HH books. 🙂
I have no idea what Sir Megabyte is reading. I think he’s on a reading Hiatus after reading so much this summer. He’s working double time, sooooo he’s usually really tired when he gets home from work.

Re: books
as long as it is good and not massivly depressing I’ll read it. But mainly I stick around the sci fi fantasy section with dabbling in mystery and things like that. 🙂
But as long as it is good and sounds interesting I’m up for recommends.
I have a list myself. It has like 100 books on it. I just can’t keep up! ROFL

100 books—–wow
i have checked out more than one mystery, lol… though not always on purpose. i realized i have read almost nothing but science fiction in the past year, at least… i am reluctant to choose a fantasy, but i have read some stuff. in the past few months, i have read a couple of interesting books by british authors, and i’m fascinated by that (lol) Do you know/like Douglas Adams (old fave)? hope all is well *hugs* ~.~

I definately stray to fantasy/sci fi more than anything else. But I like to be a well rounded reader. 🙂
Douglas Adams? One of the best writers ever? Heck yeah I’ve read him and love him!
I love british authors. I prefer them to most americans!

currently reading
As of the other day, i’ve been reading i don’t know how she does it by allison pearson… its about a working mom and it’s quite funny. i feel like i’ve been reading it forever and i’m about a quarter of the way through it. i can already tell it is enjoyable enough i will be sad to be finished with it… i am trying to think of some good fantasy i have read, because i know there is some. There is an awesome trilogy (kinda young adultish (supposedly)) the middle book is called the golden compass. it is kinda like lord of the ring-ish, and it was very fun to read, seemed like it would be a delight to share with youngsters… so, throw a few titles my way. very very glad to hear about your baby’s good check-up. til later
