Heard from first realtor. She seems to think our best case (BEST CASE) scenario is selling our house for a 30k loss. EEEEK. That’s just not right. π¦ How on earth am I supposed to afford that? There’s not much I can do.
So my options right now are
Try to sell and see how much of a loss I take. Pray for the best expect the worse. Apparently the last two homes to sell here have sold for 115 and 135. I can tell you flat out 115 is not possible. Had to be a foreclosure. But 135? EEEK.
Foreclose and deal with that nasty nightmare.
Bankruptcy and that nasty nightmare.
EEEEK.
Double EEEEEK.
Triple EEEEEK.
What on earth do I do that spends as little of my money as possible but sweetens this deal to get every single dollar I can squeeze out of someone? I mean, I went in just hoping to get what I owe on the house. But a 30k loss? yipes!

THanks… will keep the blog posted for sures. At this point… all prayers welcome. We really feel the lord wants us to do this so surely the lord will provide. I trust him. And if he wants us to learn a lesson about whatever lesson can be learned so be it.
I mean worst case is we can’t sell the house so we file bankruptcy. Not happy… but we will survive.

Well I mean, you get bad news, you give yourself time to whine and moan and go “Waaah this sucks” but then you plug ahead. I mean what more can you do? I mean, we have to take this job and move and at this point we have little choice. We’re used to being broke, my husband was military. It stinks… but hey, such is life.
What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger… all that cliche-ness. blah de blah. π
Besides, timing is all the differance. Over the last 12 months we had a war start up. Well that kind of stuff makes people more shaky on wanting to shell out $$ on a house. However the main part of the war is over… things are looking up, Saddam is *YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY* captured and it is an election year and yadda yadda yadda… so I’m hoping the house market will totally pick back up. π

Thanks, we are hoping for the best too. π I really am hopeful that it was mainly last year’s circumstances and that this year will be better. We are going on the “hope for the best but prepare for the worst” so never fear… we are being realistic while being hopeful! π
