Some friends came over. I cleaned up basement a bit and realized that I”m pretty much done packing down there! WOOHOO. Same with main level. And same with upstairs! I mean still stuff I can do but I can do it slowly while house is on the market. And of course most of the rest of the packing will be the after we have an actual move date.

So now? Tis clean and paint and fix.

We did go through the kids room. We went through the closet and dreser. Turns out we found even more “too small” clothing. Wow, the kids have almost no clothing in their closet anymore! Great! They had too much! It was crazy. I’ll have to post a picture or something. So we filled up almost a whole tote of clothes! YAY! We did put all the extra coat hangers in a tote as well. I have too many so I’m going to try to come up with how many ‘extras’ to keep and then I’m going to get rid of the rest I think. I mean I must have 40 hangers or something!! Yipes!

We also went through the lego box and fished out the toys and cheap legos. Lego box now closes and has been removed from bedroom. Will go immediately into storage. Too many little pieces. I have been going through what’s left of their toys. There were just a few upstairs and some in the basement. Well there wasn’t that much and I thought it would be nice to fit in the toy tote so I decided to go through the toy tote again. I have now ended up with all this a whole garbage bag of toys to get rid of. WOOHOO. Going strait to go away pile!! I am now down to seriously one tote that will close easy easy and the bucket. All that’s in the bucket is HUGE toys. So hopeful not very messy. I suppose I will let them keep that! 🙂 Now, I must take them all down to the basement!

I have also washed laundry. I need to fold it. That will be my task for later tonight after everything else is done.

Now it is time to go and get back to work. I’m supposedly having some people come and help me with touch up painting and the like. Need to finish getting things ready for that.
