I’ve watched a bunh of movies and should probably review them. I mean I rented movies two weeks ago and never posted about them! Plus watched some since. And HBO had a free movie weekend this weekend and boy did my DVR fill up! π So here’s the Movie Blitz
Adventures of Pluto Nash
This was pretty fun. Not as kiddie as I thought. More like teenager/adult. But I thought that it was supposed to be closer to kiddie? I dunno. Kids loved it though!
Banger Sisters:
Too much language but a great story. Though I’m still not sure what Goldie Hawn was doing. Of course I’m watching it and Goldie is wild and apparently Susan was wild but is now some political reserved woman… she starts to cut loose again by the end of the movie but I’m sitting there waiting for her to burst into RHPS songs. HAHA. Apparently she was THAT wild! It was OK… I’d say maybe three stars?
What a girl wants:
Awesome. Colin Firth in leather pants waving his arse? definately awesome. Fun and creative. I give it five stars!! It is a keeper for sure!
The Sweetest Thing:
Dumb… but in its dumbness.. funny. Too much sexual crap. So 1 star. But the movie is worth watching for the “movie montage”. The story was good, they just did too much inapprorpiate stuff. π¦
Just Married:
This was fun. I liked it. Antics across Europe. Lots of laughs. Definately 4 stars. Kind of slapsticky though.
Juwanna Mann:
Definately five stars. This was great. It’s about a basketball player who is a jerk. Gets kicked out. Comes back in drag to play for the women’s league. Ends up realizing what a jerk he is and changes. Really great story. And other than some language at the beginning and his nudity (you see him from the back) it’s not so bad. Do refer to his privates… but hey… to be expected considering he has to do things like a physical! Anyway, really great story. And funny. Deep story they managed to keep light is always good. Disturbed by how effiminate he looked BEFORE decided to drag it up.
Kangaroo Jack:
OMG, this was actually a good movie! I thought it looked dopey and was thinking “Why Jerry? Why?” But true to my fandom of Sliders… I watched for Jerry (Quinn from Sliders). I was surprised! Some twists and turns even I didn’t expect. Lots of fun! I would recommend this one in a heart beat!! Five stars!!
40 Days 40 Nights
Give up sex for lent? This is funny. I liked it. Kind of pervy with the OTHER people. But gave a great lesson that you don’t need to jump in bed with someone. And how relationships can be better for starting out with sex off the table! Three stars. Take out the pervyness. (Though some of it was good because it was his buddies trying to get him to give up. Like spiking his OJ with viagra and the boss drinking it instead. BWAHAHAHA)
Down With Love:
OMG… I keep thinking about rewatching this. It rocked. Like fifty stars not enough. I love the spoofing! Oh my gosh… rent it. Today. π Buy it. Whatever. Watch it… good good good good.

OMG… both are great
Down with love is my current fave movie. It is so funny! π I recommend both.
I have a soft spot for Colin Firth. He’s a great actor. And he puts on some leather pants and dances around in What a Girl Wants. π

So do I… that’s a great show. Lots of fun. I liked it better when it was on Thursday, now it is up against two other shows I like so it is rough for me to watch it. *SIGH* So I’ve missed a couple of episodes. Hopefully I’ll catch them in repeats.
Her character is just as fun loving in WILAY as in this movie. You will DEFINATELY like this movie. π (BTW Colin Firth is the guy in Bridget Jones Diary if you’ve seen that.)

I like it better on Friday. On Thursday I watch FRIENDS, nothing can compete with that.

yeah but it didn’t come on until like 9 or 9:30 so Friends was over. I hear ya… I’m a Friends girl π Even got that trivia game… hehe Soon will have DVDs… at some point when I can afford it.. haha
But Friday at 8:30 you got Married to the Kelly’s on ABC which is actually rather good and from 8-9 you have Joan of Arcadia on CBS which is AWESOME.
And you don’t get much if you move it otherwise it is up against JAG and Stargate. EEEK.
