I can’t rip and back up my OWN DVDs??? Excuse me? What next? No backing up my CDs? No way. I have kids. I want to back up!!!

Even more annoying are the CDs that can only be played in one thing – the first thing you play them in. It can then be a hassle to try to get them into something else.
I have a few CDs that claim to be copy protected. Haven’t tried to find a way to rip mp3’s off them (my computer has no room for such at the moment). They did give my friend’s computer hell (he has a much newer system) when I brought them over for him to listen to. Took awhile to get them to play. He was using something funky though…
