We didn’t do a whole lot today. Dad had the day off so we just stayed around the house. Kids played and tried to help out their grandfather. Boy they get a kick out of that. And then of course granddaddy playing football and stuff is just the best!!

Today’s big event actually happened tonight. Kept it a lazy day for partying at night! WOOHOO. I went over to see my friend, Amy. I love her. She’s a great friend and I really miss her. OK, I feel this way about all my friends there! HA! So anyway I go over and we’re talking and this neighbour of hers comes up and we talk to her a bit. She is actually rather nice so that’s cool. Another possible new friend type.

We all end up going to Friendly’s. We wait and wait for someone to even seat us. Ahhhh the Rt 3 Friendly’s, there’s no place like it! HA! Finally we demand a seat and get one and we all order ice cream and just chat it up. Talked about all sorts of things.

Amy’s awesome and we’re looking forward to spending some time with each other. She works for the local paper so we’ll see what we can work around between that and her two kids. Who are totally cute but high needs, they are autistic. Having that I’ve learned a lot about autism and I must say, mum’s to autistic kids? You guys have my respect.

Of course Amy is trying to find a way to get me to move into her neighbourhood. Wouldn’t THAT be great? Mum would definately like it since Amy only lives about five minutes away! And you don’t even have to get on horribly congested Route 3! LOL. Of course, there’s nothing available there but who knows what could crop up between now and when I come out for good?

I know my husband doesn’t want to settle there though so I’ll just keep that dream to myself. *SIGH* It would be wonderful though. Close to mum, Amy, easy reach of Steph and DragynPryncess. Near that lady from earlier this week too, whom I like very much. She has a lovely home in downtown Fredericksburg. I’d also be near Grandpa and not even too far from the farm and family there.

Gosh I can’t wait to move. I don’t want to go back to Ohio. I wish it were moving time already.
