Things are moving on along around here. Had a busy week. I’ve been playing hookey most days and getting out and about. Enjoying the nice weather. I’ve also been busy packing. I’ve got that moving along at a fare pace. So that’s good.

Tonight the Elders came over. They needed dinner and well, I’ve got a grill! So they are more than welcome to come over. Figured if it was nice we could sit on the back deck. If it wasn’t nice, we could sit in the garage with the door up. No big deal. We can get around the no Elders with a “single” woman thing to feed those poor boys. So nice. I miss feeding the missionaries.

So we had burgers and macaroni salad and baked bens and brownies.

Of course silly me forgot we had no plates. So I had to anxiously wash plates. And then I couldn’t find my oil even though last i checked we had like a half bottle. Mad search… finally found a substitution. Well I didn’t do it fully, it was equal amounts of melted butter for oil. I needed a cup, I actually used 3/4ths. Turned out fine. Except the box I used was apparently more brownie mix than usual and since I made two not wanting thin brownies… we ended up with extra thick brownies! EEEP. And of course that meant it took FOREVER to bake! LOL. Oh well, the Elders are “grounded” due to Elder Cook messing up his knee. So they don’t really get out a whole lot and aren’t allowed to tract or walk far for appointments. So this allowed for them to get out, get fresh air, and not sit in their apartment for hours on end. And they don’t walk far, never fear Elder Cook’s knee. They live very close by.

We talked/listened to some LDS music. We talked about the house and about my upcoming move and we talked about the BOM and a few of their investigators. (OH Jecka, one is single! 😉 )

Today I went to Elfmyst’s daughter’s graduation from HeadStart. I shot so many pictures. Too bad she was mostly grumpy 😉 Gotta love children! I shot using several of the different settings on the camera. Still not sure what they all are. HA! But this was my first real opportunaty in a long time to do this. Hope she likes them!
