Former President Reagan passed away today. He’s the first president I actually remember. Wow. Condolances to his family and friends.
I ran over and told the people across the street who were watching tv just I guess not paying attention to scrolling stuff… so they lowered the flag to half mast.
I’m tired. The kids were whiney while we were out. *SIGH* I can’t wait. Next week no more having to take them when I go shopping. Of course I won’t have my regular stores to go visit. Ugh. I’ll post more on that later. Right now I have to figure out dinner but I’m just so blah I don’t wanna cook. I’d thought maybe we would grab a bite out but you know, I couldn’t take the kids being whiney so forget it.
And now I want to see if there are any movies on but my theme search is not working on my satelite and I’m unsure why. Anyone with Dish Network having a problem?

1) Reagan seemed old to my 3 year old mindset. So did Washington on the coins and pictures. They musta been elected when they were young and just been there for some time.
2) There were only four faces on Mount Rushmore. I thought every president would go up there after they died and Reagan would be next.
Of course at an even earlier time I thought the universe was what you could see on a map of Ohio!

I was born in 75 so it was Carter. But yeah… no clue. Then as a kid it was all Reagan Reagan Reagan. Then Bush Sr and *shudder* Clinton and now Bush Jr. But I think Reagan is the first president to die in my lifetime. At least the first I can remember. I vaguely remember him being shot. *SIGH*
So sad.
Oh and there are plenty of adults here who think the whole universe does revolve around Ohio. And of course that means OSU football.

What about Nixon? Richard Nixon died on April 22, 1994. I realize he wasn’t President during your lifetime, but he did die during your lifetime ~

President Nixon died? I had no idea… Of course that was when I was in college and couldn’t pick up any tv channels. Also that looks awfully close to end of term. Could be why i didn’t realize. I was newly engaged and trying to make it to end of term… haha
Seriously, I have no recollection of him dying… How sad is that?
