Talked to my hubby this morning. I miss him. I can’t believe I’ll see him on Friday! I can’t wait! I need to get my house packed so I can clean on Friday so that once everything goes up into the truck I can just leave. Be with the hubster!
I did get a ring from the realtor. Someone wants to see the house! Well they were due to come between 3 and 4. Perfect… Church gets out at 3:30. I can linger a tad and get home right at 4. So I left the pamphlets out, I tried to clean up a bit so it didn’t look AS trashed as I feel. (So hard to properly sweep and stuff with boxes everywhere!)
I got to church at the end of Sacrament. At first I was sad but then I remembered it was Testimony Sunday. These can be awesome but they can be equally awful. A lot of the time, it tends to be towards the bad with the rambler and the travel-log (especially prevalent after a 3 day weekend like last week), the Cry-imony, and the spanglish testimony. I did catch the deaf girl R.M. and her testimony. That was nice. (She signed it and one of the interpretors translated.)
I said good bye and left and pulled into the house at 3:59. Literally. People were long gone and they didn’t take a pamphlet. Darn. I haven’t heard a thing. Gosh I hope I hear back tomorrow. Preferably with “We want to buy your house!” *SIGH* It would really make this week easier!!
I didn’t feel very good. My eye has been kind of achey all day. So I went and laid down for a bit while the kids went and played with their friends. Now I’ve wrapped up dinner (mm fish) and am watching My Science Project that my DVR snagged. Anyone remember that? There were three of them. Weird Science, My Science Project, and Real Genius. They show Weird Science all the time. Real Genius rarely. And My Science Project almost never. (Real Genius is almost never too…) Anyway… what a fun movie… hehe
I’m at the point where they’ve ripped off the “whatever” from the junkyard and now their cool muscle car is breaking down. HEHE

If you search your dvr often enough you will find Real Genius pop up every so often. That is Mike’s all time favorite. We have it permanantly recorded on our tivo. I may buy him a copy on DVD soon. The recording we have is from Comedy Central and it has lots of commercials. Sure I can hit FF but why bother. Plus I could open up the space on my tivo for other stuff. We have Wierd Science on VCR tape somewhere. That was a childhood favorite.

I have Weird Science on video somewhere too. That’s definately a desperate need of a DVD. That and Princess Bride. We watch those so often… they are thrashed. I loved all three of the movies I mentioned in my post though. This is the first time I’ve seen this one pop up in a while. It’s on KTLA (LA’s WB) so there are lots of commercials. So i’ll dump it to save time. But I’m watching now. š
I am snagging the Dr Who movie this week. I have it permanently on my DVR anyway, but last time it was on something like Sci Fi so it is 2 hours and has commercials. This week it is on some other channel (I can find out if you like) and it has no commercials so it will only be like an hour and probably 30 minutes. It was a made for TV movie so I figure that’s about right. So I’ll free up about half an hour or so this way! š Plus not have to 30 second skip the commercials! š I’d like to get that on DVD though so I could free up that space. Only other things I’ve got taking up space is the whole season of Charmed. (I really should dump that… since what I was saving it for was moot after the derailment of the storyline.) I also have the Soup Nazi episode of Seinfeld. I think that’s it though. But all of that is eating up like half my time. So I do need to consider dumping stuff.
