So I go to the store to buy a couple more totes… think I’ve all I need now, or at least I hope so. My mum rings me. Which is fine because I had actually rang her and left her a message about My Hero. She’s at the store (don’t think she got her message yet… haha) and wants to know if I have an XBox. No I wish. Too blasted expensive at 200 bucks for a stupid console with no game. I mean you are talking you are gonna spend 250 bucks to get the console and one game. GRRR. So I wait until these things go down. (Like the deal I got on the gamecube.)

So I tell her this. But then I remember the PS2 just went down and tell her that and that maybe the XBox did as well. So I mosey on over (since I’m still in Walmart and was just heading for checkout) to electronics (I love electronics) and check it out. Yup they are now 150. Getting closer guys, keep it up!

Turns out she wants this Riddick game. Like for the movie. It’s totally sold out everywhere there. Poor mom. (And no I didn’t ask because if she’s got a crush on Vin Diesel, I do NOT want to know.)

So I say “Well they might have something at Microcenter and I’m heading there, I can look if you want.” She signs and says whatever so off I go. I pick up my walkie talkie deals they have on sale. I only got one pair, wonder if I should have gotten a second? One for each of us? Hmmm. Well anyway, so I get there and what do I see? XBox Halo bundle!

One exclusive green halo console with special edition green controller. Full version of Halo. Sneak previews of Halo 2. Plus another game. (Choose from one of six.) All for only 170. Wait, stop the presses, the unit in nifty green (caramon’s fave colour) and two games for only 20 extra dollars? Sounds like a good deal to me. Good thing mom is speed dialed.

She goes “Let me talk to your father. I really want that Riddick game and maybe we can talk him into the console and claim it is for the kids.” Bwahahaha My mom, ladies and gentlemen… She asks how long is the sale. So I find my handy dandy guy and ask and he goes “Until I know for sure the 15th. But probably till we sell out.” I ask… they only have three. So what I saw was what they have. Hmmm.

Mom hears it and goes “BUY IT!” Yup she ordered me to buy it. So oh darn… now I have this nice little xbox sitting on my living room floor. Whatever is a girl to do? I read her about Halo, she says it sounds neat. I picked up a puzzle game (for the kids… OK, I love puzzle games too) as the free one. And then I went around and just had to get Buffy. I’ve wanted that Buffy game since Christmas. You can play several different characters.

And you know what? ALL THREE are multiplayer! WOOOT. I also picked up a package with 2 controllers and a CD case. (yeah cause I need a cd case… hahaha) But it was actually 3 dollars less than one more controller, riddle me that?

Yes I posted to my moblog pictures. 🙂 So go look.

I also pickedup the little 5 dollar remote control cars the kids have been begging for. You know what’s funnier though? The cars were next to the XBOX… they noticed the cars and not the big green gaming console box. Bwahahahaha… kids!! (ANd they do love to game!!)

OK… so anyway… six months same as cash… and my mom’s paying… how on earth can a girl go wrong?

Now… to pack… and fight the urge to give Halo (or Buffy) a test drive!!

Need cheap games. Bwahahahaha… Want Prince of Persia…
