I went out with my friend Caroline today. She’s got a fiesty cutie that’s 3 named Dexter. Yes like Dexter’s Lab. ROFL… So I’m not the only person with creative places to get names!

We took the boys to see the free movie. Today it was Agent Cody Banks. Love that movie, it’s so much fun! HAHA… of course I better keep quiet now that I’m in CIA land again… I bet a few people here would not be happy with the way the Agency is poked fun at! 🙂 As the credits were playing and we were gathering stuff my mum rang. So I answered it and she’s like “Grandpa and I are at Fudruckers. Is your movie over?” So we all went over there since it’s in that Central Park nightmare. Ate and all that. Mum and grandpa had to leave before we got our food to go to his PT appointment. It took us forever to eat because Dexter kept wanting to run the restaurant and of course my kids felt the need to try to run after him or tattle on him. Finally though we were done.

First stop after that was Borders. I miss my little B Dalton’s and my big Barnes and Nobles in Ohio. *SIGH* Anyway so we go to Borders and I suppose it is OK. *SIGH* Well I found my Buffy: Chaos Bleeds strategy guide. Yay! Bad news? It was in the back of the store so I had to go through the entire store to get there. Yeah I came out of there having spent 65 bucks. Ouch. But I got the #9 Plum book (yay saw number 10 is now out!), a new Bubbles book, there’s a new book by the same person who wrote the Artemis books so I got that, saw there is a sequel to the wonderful story The Notebook (I just love Nicholas Sparks!), and finally a book by Margaret Weiss that looked fairly interesting. So yay, more summer reading! There were more books but I was good and did not buy any more today.

I did find on the bargain shelf though a wonderful photography book. So I picked it up since it was only 5 bucks. Figured I could learn a few tips! 🙂 Maybe decide what filters to buy since they are on a summer sale buy two get one free. I know I’m buying one so I may as well splurge on another one! HAHA. I mean if it means getting a free one? May as well!

OK, so no going to a bookstore again for a while. HAHA. But I’ve been burning through books and so it will be fine! In fact I haven’t started a new one yet so hey, I’m good. But right now this makes my “to be read” stack sitting in my room.. um hold on.. 16. Plus some other books that mum gave me that I’ll probably read only because I’ll be too lazy to go to the library or too cheap to go to the bookstore. I am going to have to get used to the fact the library here is just not as good as in Columbus. So spoiled… second best library in the nation for city size. *SIGH* I hear that apparently you wait and wait on the list for stuff. 😦

After the damage at the bookstore I went to target. I still needed something to wear over this tank top I got with mum. I ended up finding a nice white button up shirt with short sleeves that had a cuff. Caroline thought it would look nice so I bought it. I then came home and tried it on and mum said it looks great but she wants to take the shirt and use her unearthed embroidery machine. She has this solar thread. It looks white but you take it in the sun and comes to life in bright colours and she wants to put that on the shirt. We’ll see if we can find something I like that’s pretty plain. 🙂
