OK today I cleaned up the hallway. The biggest thing I did was I cleaned off the top of the china cabinet. This is in my parents foyer by the front door cramping up the foyer but now it looks a tad bit better. Woohoo! Also worked in the washroom. Guess what I found? The top to the bloody dryer! No I’m not kidding. I found the top to the dryer and did a dance. I can actually… see the dial now! WOOHOO!

Mum folded all her laundry and we even picked her up a new hamper today as hers was very much broken. We have that fit into the washroom now instead of the hallway. YAY!

So we have all the clothes taken care of. We have the washer and dryer cleaned off. The floors are totally clean. The hamper is IN the washroom. Now it is just the shelving left to do in there. YAY! Which I have to send mum in to do. But yay!!! And their kept clothes is rather small so woohoo, there’s hope! Now if I can find some way to organize it but the room is so bloody small and so I’m not sure if the clothes in there will be able to look decent or not. If anyone has any ideas, I’d love to have them.

That’s been the majority of the work today. We had to take Grandpa to his excercise class so we were gone most of the day. It started at the crack of dawn… Ok Ok… 8… but for us that’s dawn. Mum realized last night at like almost 1 that we had to get their mazda to the dealership first thing in the morning. So we rolled out and started going. We hit Target for sheets and some clothing needs. Socks and that sort of stuff. We actually picked up the hamper because it was really needed. We did find this amazing set for the kitchen, came with the sorting drawer and then all the stuff that goes in it! Only 20 bucks. It’s all the kitcheny stuff. Can opener, cooking utensils, measuring spoons, bag clips, whisks, etc etc etc. Amazing. We did finish the last two drawers to get that working in the kitchen. It didn’t fit next to the stove (of course… grrr… but I might try the other one that is all Dad’s junk) so we moved it to the silverware drawer. Then we put the silverware drawer stuff in the original drawer. But now all the drawers are gone through!! WOOHOO. More stuff prepped to GO.

I took the books to a thrift store.

Hmmm, I think that’s about it. I did finalize my stamping up order. Mum ended up panicking over the paper dolls being discontinued so at the last minute she ordered a bunch of that stuff so that upped me to also getting a versamark for free. I also picked out my hostess special. WOOHOO.

The kids met the new kid that is moving in. That is nice. He’s the same age as Joram. So that works well. They officially move on Sunday but they are here this week painting. So the parents were MORE than happy to have the boys take him off their hands…
