One of those Sunday’s where you wonder why you bothered getting out of bed? Wondered why you bothered trying to get anyone ready for Church? Yup, had one of those Sunday’s.
How interesting that the first talk was on REVERANCE. My boys wouldn’t stop bouncing in their seats and whispering. “What song are we singing next?” “When is it time to sing a song?” “I can’t wait for Primary.” Yeah well I can’t wait for Primary either to get you guys out of my hair! AUGHHH! I ended up finally just taking them out of the chapel since I couldn’t concentrate on Sister Barley’s talk and I doubt anyone else near us could. I put up with it as long as I could but argh. So forget Sacrament.
I missed Sunday School since Joram had this thing in Primary. I wanted to to that. So I talked to Sister Milton and Amy for a few minutes and then went to Primary. Only three kids in Joram’s class showed up. THat’s counting Joram. So I guess it was a lot shorter than planned. But they did this whole thing about Family. Spelled out Family and had something for each letter. F is for Father, A is for Aunt, M is for Mother… you get that drift. Then they had to show pictures of their family and talk about their family. Joram said that sometimes we play SkipBo and the kids mess up but we just keep on going. *SNICKERS* THat’s funny. The teacher tried to prompt him to say something about his parents and so Joram says “Sometimes my parents let me play on their x-box, but not a lot.” But never fear, he was not the only one game obsessed… the girl after him said that sometimes her brother let her play on his gameboy. HAHAHA. Of course this girl brought a picture of her family from when they got sealed in the Temple and she just kinda talked about the kids but didn’t mention where it was. Her mother was in the back shout/whispering “And where were you in that picture?” and the girl was like *shrug* “I dunno” and the mum went “We’re at the Temple!” and so then the teacher and mum go “Why were you at the Temple?” and the girl shrugs and says “I dunno” and the mother goes “Getting sealed!!” ROFL… gotta luv kids!!
I did manage to make it for RS though thank goodness. And was able to pay attention.. until I got a phone call about three fourths of the way through! (No the ringer was not on but the phone was making a terrible racket in my purse vibrating! Who knew vibrate was so loud?)
Once we got home the boys kept pestering me. “Can we see if Nathan is home yet? Can we see if he’s awake yet?” OMG, you went over there once, don’t pester the people!! AUGHHHH. I went to Best Buy with my parents. I just had to get away from the kids!!! It didn’t help much though. We came home and I went and tried to hide in my room and watch a movie. Try being the operative word. So I watched another movie. HAHA… My brain just could not function!!!
Did anyone see this weekend’s trading spaces? That Habitat House one was awesome. I had heard about that one but hadn’t seen it. I don’t know if it was new or not, but it was the first time I had caught it. It was great. I can’t believe Edward was able to do something for every room in his house. That was so sweet of him! And they replaced the entire downstairs floor and they also went ahead and made over the mom’s bedroom. Awww Edward, you are so sweet! And Laurie with the whole trip to Ireland?? AWWWWWWW. What a wonderful gift! I do love what she did with the picture over the sofa. All the kids on the sofa… that was super.

Market. It’s a buyer’s market. There are too many houses and not enough buyers. 😦
Of course where i moved to is the polar opposite. Seller’s market. There’s about three buyers to one available house. It’s insane!

Where did you move from? I already forgot. 😦
Where I live I guess it is a seller’s market as you described. Maybe you can magically put your old house here!
Seriously, I would love to come and visit you sometime if you’ll have me. 🙂

Re: Yeah it is
It is in Ohio. 🙂 The biggest problem is that after the stock market crash from 9-11 a lot of people lost their jobs so they had to forclose on their home. That dropped the house prices drastically giving people negative equity. Combine that with the fact that even though there are too many houses on the market, the builders are popping up houses a mile a minute. People are throwing their homes onto the market and then building new homes. But people who are renting don’t want to buy an existing home if they can build a new one for the same price. So it is just ending up that more people are building so the existing homes are not selling. It’s a real pain in the neck. Of course when we got our house before the whole terrorist strike, it was still a buyer’s market with the whole builder issue. It’s how we got our house. The people who contracted to build it couldn’t sell their condo so they had to forfeit their building contract. So we got our house at a “bargain”. A month after we signed the contract (and a month before closing) 9-11 happened. We moved in just as the effects of the crash (causing the recession to move faster and go far worse than I think it would have otherwise) started being felt by employees.
It’s really kind of sad. *SIGH*
Hey, you’d be welcome any time if I had my own place. It’d be a little hard right now, though my mum might let you come just cause you are a girl. She’ll adopt you 😉 HEHE

You have been so deprived.
On the bright note we also have computers galore here so you won’t have to fight for the HIGH SPEED net access. 🙂
See… we have lots to offer here in VA. 🙂 You should look into University of Mary Washington… hehehehe
