Not that I have that much planned for today but I woke up with Manic Monday by the Bangles stuck in my head.  “It’s just another manic monday, I wish it was Sunday, oh that’s my fun day..”

Maybe because like they say “Six o clock all ready, I was just in the middle of a dream…”  My kids woke me up from a deep slumber that was ever so nice with screaming and yelling…  Argh.

On the books for today is to visit with a friend who is coming over.  So far as I know, that is all.

I think I’m going to get dressed and then maniacally read my book.  I have finished my two Dan Brown addictive books.  (Beware Dan Brown.  He’s one of those evil writers who sucks you into his books so you cannot accomplish anything until you figure things out!!)  They were Digital Fortress and Deception Point and I loved them.  Wowsers!  Sir Megabyte had just read them and so we actually got to talk about books.  That was cool.  Almost like having book group… almost!  Well Saturday night I was really tired, but I went ahead and started my new book.  It’s by an author I’ve never read before, Karin Slaughter.  How fitting it is a murder mystery with that last name!  At any rate, this book is entitled Blindsighted, and it was a recommend from my old book store that I loved so much in Westerville.  Must I say that the highly recommended book is proving to live up to the hype.  I really was tired but managed to stay away for about 25 pages Saturday night before falling asleep.  Yesterday I woke up and since it was like 7:30 I decided to read a little more.  Next thing I knew it was 10:30 AM and my mum was knocking on the door asking if we were going to Church!  Eeeek…

I’m now on page 281. I have several conclusions I’ve come to.  One is being investigated now.  They just revelaed that something I had a question about did actually happen so they are looking into that.  I tell you what, this book rocks.  Get it.  Read it.  Love it.  Oh and warn me so I know why you drop off the radar for a few days.  I have just under 100 pages to go.  You know what, I hope i have another book like this in my stacks, I’m really in the mood for this kind of intensity.  I know I’ve read several other intense books but I guess the cycle for me is on that.  I know I have some more lightweight ones for when I come off of that…

OK enough jabbering.  Feel loved and special because I shared info on this book with you instead of just hiding and reading it more… I want to get back into it!!
