OK, two dead mobo’s and I’m pissed. So. I’ve decided to send the second bare bones back as well. Of course this time they are insisting I make like three other phone calls. *SIGH* Fine.

So the quest for a new mobo will begin. As soon as I get the whole old one resolved. So now I need for my FIL’s box…

2. Power Supply
3. Mobo
4. Vid/Sound/Lan if not onboard MoBo.

I have the ram and the AMD chip still.

Hmmm… guess my fingers will be doing some walking this week…

I do find it interesting that while on hold with the mobo manufacturer (Tiger is making me do this first, this go round) they have a whole list of things to try if you are having the exact issue I’m having. Of course, all the things they listed were not issues with us. *SIGH*
