So I watched it. Sue me. It was a pretty even draw I think. Cheney did well in places and Edwards did well in other places. I will tell you that I think Cheney came off as a crotchety old man most of the time, where as Edwards seemed more at ease and able to laugh at himself. But they both did their fair share of griping at the other and pointing fingers. “No you are wrong.” “No you are wrong.” “You’re misleading.” “No you’re misleading.”

So I say, stalemate. Though I know that the left leaning news people are definately going to throw this one towards Edwards. After all that lousy showing by Kerry last week somehow translated into a win for him. So since Edwards was OK, he’ll be claiming the victory curtesy of the news and of course all the sheep who didn’t watch the news will follow suit.

I still can’t find a reason to care. Perhaps if you could line vote so vote for president and then vote for vice president seperately it would be better. This debate would have meant more and hopefully not been an annoying rhetoric fight.

Oh well, Edwards played the part of pretty boy well. What’s with the democrats and their pretty boy Veeps? Look at Gore! He was also a pretty boy, goodness knows Clinton was anything but… *SHUDDER* I still have nightmares of his chicken legs and blame those on the morning news as my distaste of 1. Mornings and 2. Breakfast. You watch those chicken legs running by on the news at 6:30 AM while trying to eat your cheerios before school and you’d have serious issues as well.

Overall:
Annoyance Factor 10
Mud Factor 8
Trying to toss blame (both) 8
Stating case (both): 5
Annoying Rhetoric: Definate 10, can you go to 11 on a ten point scale?

So let’s see what Friday brings, shall we?
