Christopher Reeves, better known as Superman, passed away! Gosh I remember the first time I saw Superman. I remember watching manically the news coverage of his accident almost a decade ago. I’ve watched him speak since then every chance I got. He went from being our hero in tights and a cape, to being our hero in a wheelchair striving to overcome what most people could not survive. He may have played Superman on the silver screen but he was a Superman in real life.

I had such a crush on him as a little girl. Well him and Spock. I know… I know… I like aliens.

Chris, may you always fly the skies with that wonderful smile. You are finally free. And may your work here live on. You brough hope to millions.

Something tells me I may be buying the Superman movies finally. I wonder who will show them on TV first in tribute?
