This morning we went to the Volunteer Coffee at Kenmore. We also got a private tour of the house. They are working real hard to redo the inside of it. Repainting, papering, etc. They are trying to be real authentic. I took sme pictures, especially off the plasterwork. My mum wants the plasterwork to make a recreation something or other. Not real sure exactly what, but anyway. I’ll post them to my moblog after a bit. I’m glad they let me take photos. Apparently they aren’t too persnickity about photos there. That’s nice! 🙂 Sometimes at places like that…

Oh speaking of photography I picked up a couple of my filters today. We went to get prints made of some of the pictures I took. Well I’ve been meaning to get a UV filter for my camera. It protects the lens from scratches and also from UV rays so a good thing to have. It’s a lot cheaper to replace as well! So I picked that up as well as the spot one and one that adds stars to lights. Mum told me to get that last one. She says it’s the holidays and we need it. ROFL. One was free, so that was nice. Woohoo! I can’t wait to use the filters!

Oh, last night my mum bought a mini tree. It’s like claiming to be four foot. It’s got fiberoptics that make it light up which are cool. It even came with a total of three discs for different light effects. Nifty!!! Fiberoptics are cool! We put it on the fireplace. It’s cute! I’ll have to take a picture of it at some time…

Ok, now here’s a great laugh. OMG I was laughing so hard. I had to call my FIL and tell him and he got a great chuckle as well. In NJ for Thanksgiving, Joram set the table for everyone. My FIL showed him how to set the table, fold the napkin, everything. So we’re at scouts tonight and they had a contest to see who could set the table the fastest and do it right. Placemat, napkin, plate, cup, spoon, knife, and two forks. The whole shebang. So at go Joram grabs all his stuff and gets to work. He folded his napkin and put the spoon and knife on it. He put down the two forks on the other side. He put the placemat down with the cup and plate on it and said “I’m done!” It took like I don’t know… 10 seconds. ROFL. All the other kids were still trying to do theirs. It was so funny. My Joram!

Now I’m home. No 24 tonight. It’s NCIS and Judging Amy and Scrubs. IF I have time… I might pull out the next 24 disc. I have 8 more episodes of season 2. Then it will be trying to get ahold of season 3 and watching it like a mad woman. I’m a 24 addict!! HEHE I have a 10 dollar off coupon for costco… I don’t know that I”m going to get it… I’m going to try to hold out.. must…be…strong…
