Are you wearing your bracelets today? Lance is on Oprah. We’ve been watching.
Right now they are showing someone who’s battling breast cancer. I guess she really likes Lance and how positive he’s been. So I guess they are going to bring her out to meet Lance? Or he’s going to go and see her? Oh they just knocked on her door and told her they were bringing her (half the town was outside her door) to the Oprah show (video footage) It’s really cool. I’m about in tears. OMG he just gave her a bike… and autographed it!
Anyway… Shameless plug. Oprah wants to break a record selling the LiveSTRONG bracelets today. For a cure… get one. They have a link on Oprah.com if you can’t find them (like most of us).
Find a cure. Caramon was a lucky one. Lance was a lucky one. They found cures. But there are so many out there fighting this battle right now. A lot are going to find cures. But a lot are not. I have several close to my heart fighting this fight now. My thoughts are prayers are with you.
Find a cure. But most of all… LiveSTRONG.

But yeah…one of my friends even sells them to kids for a dollar if they ask cause he can get them off of a website, so i think that’s pretty cool!

Darn I wish I knew he was on the show…would’ve watched it then! Sounds like it was a pretty moving show. Also I don’t know if you heard but CureSearch sells “Reach The Day” bracelets for pediatric cancers, if you’d like one for Caramon or anybody in your family let me know…my mom purchase 50 to hand out to everybody we know lol! Just doing our part to spread the word.

I had no idea about the reach the day bracelet. I want some!! Caramon would love one, I want one, gosh I could hand those out… your mum is wise!!!
BTW Have you noticed the giant amount of ads for curesearch on the telly now? It’s amazing. I want to cry every time I see one. I’m so happy that they are getting the message out! Lord knows it is NEEDED.

I just watched that episode today…wow was it moving. His wife was very eliquent and poised.
My mom handed out all our “Reach The Day” wristbands but our new order should be arriving any day now. If you want some let me know I’d be more then happy to send some your way! I believe my Mom’s goal is to see everyone in the US wearing one lol…she is crazy!
I noticed that CS is stepping up their campaign which is awesome! And of course the Jude is starting to gain more attention from the public which is great. You are so right about getting the message out.

I’m not sure what’s going on with Jude and CS stepping up their program, but I’m all about it. I am constantly making ribbons and handing them out to people. I should make you and your mum some cards. I just got my stamp set in I ordered FOREVER ago from stampin’ up for cancer. It’s called Hope Is or something. I need to put that set together. (I just kept having trouble hooking up with my consultant.. LOL)
I went and looked and the wristbands are like 10 bucks for 10 which is a good deal. I need to save up my $$ and buy a ton of them and hand them out like candy as well. I’d love to see everyone wearing one! If I had the money I’d blanket our whole school and church and anyone else I could find with these wristbands. Stand in front of Walmart and hand them out. ROFL. Your mum’s goal is good! 🙂
