I believe the house hunt has ended! YAY!!!

I was trying to schedule time to go out with the realtor again this week. When lo and behold my mum comes home from checking on grandpa! Turns out one of the women who works there is getting ready to put her house up for rent! She’s taken great care of it, takes a lot of pride in ownership, and doens’t want to rent it out until September so she can do a ton of work on it. That works out great for our schedule. So I went and looked at it tonight and it is great! Probably as close to perfect as we are going to get. Not only that but I felt comfortable in it! Wheeee! So I’m going to work with her today on finalizing the discussion on renting. Then next month we’ll do all the paperwork after she gets home from a trip she is taking.

I’m so excited! Best of all, it’s right in the neighbourhood we are currently in. So we are in the same school boundaries! YAY!

And you know what this means? I’ve got Harry Potter in the mail to me. When it comes in, I can read with no guilt! It’s prefect timing. When I finish will be just about the time i need to start looking for things for the home. I’ve got some stuff I need to replace. I’ve already picked up the crock pot I need, but I still need to get a new blender and toaster oven. Plus I need to get trash cans and shower curtains and a microwave. I need to start shopping for a sofa. That sort of thing. (The sofa I can hold out on for a while, but I’d like to go ahead and start pricing around) You get the picture…

Awesome!

Oh, I want to give a big shout out to all my Canadian friends as well as those on the border. Thank you all so much for offering to help me get Harry Potter! I may still need to use your services as i have a friend who says she wants to inspect my copy and may want to give me money for a copy for her son depending on what she sees. Thanks to velvetcat for mailing me the book. I can’t wait for it to arrive! You guys are all wonderful friends! ((HUGS))
