I like statues. I love walking around DC, because it seems like they have these hidden pieces of art around every corner. This one is pretty cool and it is by the Japan Information and Culture Center. Which we could not figure out to get in, by the way. Grrr.
At any rate, I thought I’d share it with you, my blogreaders. This really struck a chord with me. Like a dork, I was too busy admiring it through the lens of my camera to even catch a name. So, my appologies to the artist.
To me, I saw two lovers coming from their different lives. Their different worlds. Meeting together, so in love they can’t take their eyes off one another.
