I might like games.

Could you tell by the shirt I wear from beta testing an online MMORPG?  Yes, that was me that made a game designer say, “Woot” in Earth and Beyond!

Perhaps it’s the stacks of games in my storage room taking up two shelves while my food supply only takes up one.  In event of emergency I will diet but be entertained.

Maybe it is the discs of games scattered across our desks.  The Sims.  World of Warcraft.  Mahjongg.  Yes, I dabble in them all.

Then again it might be the stacks of consoles.  No, you are not mistaken.  That IS a Super Nintendo gathering dust!  Oh, I see you playing my new Wii.  Good luck in that boxing game!

Oh yes.  I might like games.

So imagine my surprise and excitement when I find myself invited to a “brand enthusiast” shindig sponsored by Nintendo?

Sometimes it pays to have friends.

One of my new Idol friends gave me the hook up.  And now I get to go party down on Nintendo’s dime!  Dang, can there really be anything better?  Maybe I will get to try out some new game.  The thought of swag makes me sweat.

Now.  I need something to do to fill my time until next Thursday evening.  Pass, time, pass!!!!!

Guild Wars or the Wii, what shall it be?
