that apparently my landlady is terminating my lease. I have to move by the end of July.
I can’t afford to replace my camera. There’s no way I can afford to pay a deposit for a new place. Plus I really hate moving. I’ve moved 11 times in nearly 14 years. This will make 12. *SIGH*

No way!!! Did she give you a reason why? And is the lease expiring or is she actually terminating it? As a tenant, you have rights… she can’t just arbitrarily break your lease and kick you out.

She gave no reason. And we’ve lived here since September 05. So we’re month to month at this point. So she is being “kind” and giving us till the end of July and lots of warning.
But if I can’t afford to replace my camera, how am I supposed to afford to move? I’m really stressed out. Plus, I just don’t want to deal with moving. I hate moving. Moving is the suck.

It’s just been a really rough few weeks. Things were going awesome, then I renewed my Temple recommend and ever since then… it’s been real real real joblike.
I will surivive. I’m just really stressed and upset and not really sure how I will make everything work out.

I’d demand a reason. Not sure what your lease says but if it has a set date on it, you should bring that into question. If it’s month by month… not sure what the law is on that…

So the law is she’s only gotta give me 30 days. She’s giving me not quite 60 to be “nice”. Whatever. I’m just not in the mood to even fight on it. I mean even if I convince her to let me stay I’d still be planning a move because I can’t deal with that stress. You know?

It’s just a really bad time right now. My camera vanishing, our house flooding, Joram getting bit by a snake, and having to move out of my house.

It must be so hard with so much stacking up on your plate. But I really have every confidence that you are going to land on your feet and be okay. It sucks right now, but I think that you’re going to bounce back in grand fashion.
