Over the years I’ve enjoyed looking at how people locate me. Today there’s many different avenues towards locating someone online and it’s interesting how quickly you can find someone online with fairly minimal effort. However, I don’t use my street name, so that can be a little different to finding me. Can someone from my high school find me? Likely not, though I am not all that concerned with those I attended high school with. I believe that I’ve located most of the few people I care about from high school, but that is neither here nor there.
The real question is how are all you strangers locating me? What brings you here? Why are you interested in me and my little blog?
In 2016 here’s the avenues people found my blog:
Search Engines: 161
WordPress Reader: 49
Facebook: 41
Pinterest: 11
Twitter: 6
Other Websites: 49
Some of the search strings:
sabbath & family history work
prayer for peaceful homes
Galatians 1:3 image
the love of learning david mccullough
And my favourite long-lasting search term:
“Best episode of JAG”
Really? This post is so so so so old. Glad it’s entertaining to people in 2016.
Though my favourite search string of all time is still “How do I know I’m alive” from a few years back. I still don’t even really have an answer for you there. Wish I did. My guess is, if you are searching for how you are alive, you’re likely there. Or you are a ghost and that’s pretty awesome. If you are a ghost, that’s still some sort of life and I’d love to hear from you. Leave a comment, please!
I do know that if you search “Lady Ozma”, I’m most of the entirety of the first google page, and I consider that a search string win.
How did you find me? What would you like to see more of? I know I’ve been lax as I’ve been swamped the last few months, but I’m working on things. I swear! Leave a comment and let me know!

I found you through WP. I guess I was looking through hashtag about some makeup product.

That’s awesome! I think a lot of people have been finding me via WordPress lately. I got active again, and that helped. Now I’m struggling to find time for everything and I’m struggling. But my giant “TO DO” list is steadily getting crossed off and so I am hoping that means time to catch up on my long list of blog entries! 🙂
I’m glad you found me. I enjoy your stuff!
