This is a book I just read. It is a national bestseller and let me just tell you… it is great. There’s a lot of language in it and a little too much sex for my liking, but that aside the book is awesome. It hooks you in from the very beginning and you can’t put the dang book down. No kidding, I was reading until 230 last night. Which really meant that since I made it to 2 it was 3 as that is when you are to change the clocks. hehe This book is powerful and intriguing and has you glued to the edge of your seat. Don’t read it if you don’t like solid action, mystery, intrigue, and most of all a book well written that you just can’t put down.
Gideon is about an author who is to write a true story as a fictional story. His contact brings him diary pages and news clippings with names and places blacked out every day. He is not allowed to keep the items. He turns in his days writings to his contact and gets back feedback from his editor. Suddenly though his editor is brutally murdered and he is fingered as the suspect. To make matters worse, no one seems to know about his contract to write the book named Gideon. He’s suddenly thick in the middle of a mystery and if he can’t figure it out he will most likely die. And if he does figure it out? He will most likely die. Join his adventure to discover just whom he is writing about and learn if he solves the mystery and lives. I won’t tell you the ending, but I was guessing until almost the end!
Have you read it? I’d love to hear what you thought! And if you run out and get this book… please drop back and let me know what you think!
